The TMS Recent Graduate membership program is designed to make TMS membership affordable during the early years of your career, while providing you with all of the benefits and advantages available to a full, professional member of TMS.

Am I Eligible for Recent Graduate Membership?

To be eligible for a Recent Graduate membership, you must have graduated from a recognized university with a baccalaureate degree (or higher) in materials science, materials engineering, metallurgy, metallurgical engineering, or another science or engineering discipline related to the field within three years of the date of applying for membership. If applying within one year of your graduation date, membership dues are $0. If applying within 2 or 3 years of your graduation date, membership dues are reduced by 50%. Please note that if you are continuing your education at the graduate or Ph.D. level, you should apply for membership in the Material Advantage student program for undergraduate and graduate students. The complimentary recent graduate membership can only be used once and is intended for those who are graduating with a terminal degree.
